What Mike Did:

Digital Cafe was one of the first interactive digital marketing agencies in the world, launched in 1989 and sold to a $1b advertising agency, Campbell-Mithun which was owned by the publicly-traded Interpublic Group (IPG) in 1999. In addition to developing some of the Web's first sites, we produced CD-ROMs and interactive games and screensavers for large brands including General Mills, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony, BMW, Domino's Pizza, AT&T, IPG (Interpublic Group), 3M, Carlson Companies, Carlson Wagenlit Travel, Medica, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and some of the nation's largest advertising agencies including Fallon, Colle McVoy, Martin Williams, Yamamoto, BBDO, Carmichael Lynch, Periscope and more.

Figure/stat improvement: One of our most successful products we produced was “Chex Quest” – a non-violent game that shipped in six million boxes of General Mills cereal, funded by America Online. Cereal sales increased 120%. We also produced some of the web’s first movie websites for 20th Century Fox and Sony that featured digitized movie trailers.
